I am born on October 2, 1979 in Postojna, Slovenia as an only child to my parents. I started playing basketball at age seven and retired one month before my 38th birthday. Since Jan 2018 when I played my last game for the team where my professionall career started, I am officially retired professional athlete. My height is 7 ft 1 (2.16 m) and I played at center position. In my career I  played in NBA and in Russia, and Cyprus. I was as well member of Slovenian national team. On September 2, 2017 I announced my retirement from professional basketball,and joined the Cleveland Cavaliers as international consultant. I am married to wife Nada since 2003 and I am father of two daugthers, Nika and Eva. I am devoted basketballer, who has a great passion and love for the game. Basketball is not just love for me, it is my life.
